Aamir Khan is a highly acclaimed and a prominent National Film Award-winning film actor, producer and director. He first appeared as a child actor in Yaadon Ki Baaraat in 1973, before starting his career with the film Holi in 1984. Khan received his first commercial success with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988 and won a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his performance in the film. Aamir made his directorial debut with 2007's Taare Zameen Par, which was a critical and financial success.
